How to Decorate Your Dining Table for Easter
Using Sequin Eggs and Candlesticks
If you're looking to create a festive Easter tablescape, consider incorporating sequin Easter eggs on crystal or glass candleholders for a stunning and sophisticated look.
The combination of sequin Easter eggs and crystal candleholders creates a unique and elegant centerpiece that will add a touch of glamour to your table.
Whether you're hosting an Easter brunch, dinner or just a fun get-together with friends and family, sequin Easter eggs from HolidaysLane can help you create a festive and memorable atmosphere.
The first step is to find a grouping of glass and crystal candleholders. Antique malls, thrift stores and flea markets are the perfect place to start your journey. With a little patience, you can find exquisite pieces. And the best part? You'll be able to find them at a price that won't break the bank. On average you can find them for between $2 and $5.
Don't be afraid to take your time and explore all the nooks and crannies within these shops. You never know what kind of unique crystal candleholders you might come across.
Just make sure to get an eclectic mix of heights and styles. Round, square, carved or smooth can all be combined together.
2. Mix and Match Shapes:
Next you'll want to start laying them out on your table. Don't be afraid to mix and match
different shapes in your centerpiece. Consider using a combination of heights in the candleholder to create a visually
interesting display.
I suggest starting with the tallest candleholder in the center then step them down in height on each side creating a pyramid shape.
3. Choose the
Right Colors:
When choosing your sequin Easter eggs, consider the color scheme
of your table. You may want to stick with traditional Easter colors like
pastels, or you may want to go for a more modern look with bright, bold sparkly metallic colors.
Either way, be sure to choose colors that will complement your dinnerware, tablecloth and napkins.
Holidays Lane offers both handcrafted eggs that are ready-to display OR DIY Kits where you pick the colors and sequin type to make your own. If you are in a hurry the ones made by Holidays Lane owner Bill may be the way to go. If you are crafty and have the time try the kit route.
4. Place the Eggs:
Using
sequin Easter eggs in different sizes will add depth and dimension to your centerpiece.
Mix and match sizes to create a dynamic display.
I used both Dragon Eggs and regular eggs for this display. Have fun mixing things up to see what looks best next to each other.
5. Add Some
Greenery:
Although I kept this display to just the candlesticks and eggs, incorporating greenery into your tablescape will add a touch of
freshness to your table. Place some greenery around the candlesticks for a more natural touch.
Looks great Bill! Well done :)
